When someone passes away, regardless of their stature in the society, good things are said about them so as to keep their memory alive.

But for one man who was killed by an angry mob in Meru town – presumably after being caught stealing – this was not the case.

His family did not to hold back describing him as a thief whose proverbial forty days had come to an end.

But that’s not all. They decided to tell mourners that he “met his death at Kiamweri village, Murungurene in Imenti South where he was killed by mob justice.”
